Water bottle mounts have been included and are greatly appreciated. The bike now sports a new sleek downtime battery that sits snugly inside the downtime (where as previous year models were more "bolted on"). More subtle this time with improved lighting, a new color scheme, upgraded front fork (now Rock Shox) & updated drivetrain. Now in 2017 the Dash has been updated yet again. The Dash then came standard with fenders, a sturdy rear rack, and integrated lighting. As of December 31, 2015, the Company’s certificate of authority authorized it to write Life and Sickness and Accident insurance in the State of Nebraska pursuant to Neb. The Path+ got an update on the color scheme and an improved control pad for 2015. This is a city style e-bike with a 500 watt rear hub motor that can fly up to 28 mph with it’s pedal assist mode (20 mph throttle only). In throttle mode, the bike fights you hard over 20 mph, and only truly fit riders can push much more speed out of it. You aren’t getting any real help above 20, but the Dash pedals easily and rolls well, so the ride is fun. The voltage remains at 48, allowing the the bike to still reach speeds of up to 28mph while now having much greater climbing ability. The 2015 IZIP E3 Dash has a very stealthy look with it’s flat black color scheme. The Dash pedals easily at 23 to 28 mph in the three assist modes. Their benefits include a more balanced platform, standard front & rear wheels (much easier to do maintenance, flat repairs, etc.), mechanical leverage on all of the gears, improved hill climbing ability, better efficiency, & more. Mid drives have become more and more popular over the years with manufactures. To start, the Dash was reintroduced in 2016 with a 350 watt TranzX mid-drive system. Fast forward to 2017 and boy have things changed. Starting back in 2015, the Dash sported a 500watt rear hub drive with mechanical brakes and did not come with any add-ons. ES changed my life (for the waaaaay better). It is a versatile commuter for flying around town during the week while being a great touring eBike for enjoying the sights and sounds of the countryside on the weekend. standard 10-foot long white dash line followed by a 10-foot long black dash line, with a 20-foot gap in between. In fact it has been a staple and one of our most popular speedy commuters to date. Overall the 28 mph IZIP E3 Dash offers a smooth and solid ride feel with a lot of useful features for a nice price point of 2,599. The Dash is no stranger to our lineup of electric bikes.
